1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and ZEMCV Builder ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website and services.

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using any part of our service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• If using the service on behalf of an organisation, you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms

2. Description of Service

ZEMCV Builder is a web-based application that enables users to:

• Create and manage professional CV/resume content using guided forms
• Preview CVs in multiple professionally designed templates in real-time
• Receive AI-generated writing suggestions for summaries, bullet points, and skills
• Export completed CVs as PDF files using a credit-based system

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

3. User Accounts

Registration

You must create an account to access most features of the service. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information updated.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately at javedahmed08900@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account

We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits, bans, or restrictions is a violation of these Terms and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.

4. Credit System & Payments

How Credits Work

• 1 credit = 1 PDF export of a CV
• Credits are added to your account balance immediately upon confirmed payment
• Credits do not expire
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts

Pricing

All prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. You agree to pay all fees in connection with your purchases, including applicable taxes.

Refunds

All credit purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. Specifically: if you have used even one credit, no refund will be issued. Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Create CVs containing knowingly false credentials, fabricated employment history, or fraudulent qualifications with the intent to deceive employers
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or crawlers to interact with the service without our prior written consent
• Upload content containing viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any part of the service without our written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violation of these provisions, including account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The ZEMCV Builder platform — including its source code, design, CV templates, UI elements, graphics, and branding — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our express written permission.

Your Content

The CV content you create and the personal information you enter remain your property. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and render your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your CV data.

AI-Generated Content

Suggestions generated by our AI writing assistant are provided as-is for your convenience. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before including it in your CV.

7. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• Guarantees that exported CVs will be compatible with or accepted by all ATS systems or employers
• Guarantees that AI-generated suggestions are accurate, appropriate, or complete

Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Damages resulting from your inability to access or use the service
• Damages arising from any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• We detect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity associated with your account
• Continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or our systems

Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, all your CV data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account closure, except where otherwise permitted by our Refund Policy.

Effect of Termination

All licences and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease upon termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law sections) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send a notification to your registered email address
• Display a prominent notice on the service

Continued use of the service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and may request account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
